Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, we're here to make it simple to put it right. This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work at SunAfrique.

Our 7-Day Returns Promise

You have 7 days from the day your order arrives to request a return or exchange. To be eligible, the item must be:

  • Unused, undamaged and in the same condition you received it
  • In its original packaging, with all accessories, cables and free items included
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (your order number or confirmation email)

How to Start a Return

It's easy — just three steps:

  1. Contact us at support@sunafrique.co.za or through our Contact Us page, with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We'll respond within 1 business day with simple instructions and the return address.
  3. Send the item back (or, for faulty items, we'll arrange collection — see below).

Please don't send anything back before contacting us — returns sent without arranging it first can't be processed.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or it's not what you ordered, that's on us — and we'll sort it out at no cost to you. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo or short video of the problem, and we'll arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping. You're protected under the Consumer Protection Act for goods that are defective or not as described.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Changed your mind? No problem — you can still return an eligible item within 7 days. For change-of-mind returns, the return shipping cost is yours to arrange and cover, and the item must come back unused in its original packaging. Once we receive and check it, we'll refund the product price.

Refunds

Once your returned item arrives and passes a quick check, we'll process your refund within 3–5 business days. Refunds go back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it can take a few extra days to reflect.

We'll always email you to confirm once your refund has been processed.

Exchanges

Want a different item instead? The quickest way is to return your original item for a refund and place a new order, so you're not waiting. If you'd prefer a straight swap, contact us and we'll help arrange it.

Items We Can't Accept Back

For hygiene and safety reasons, we can't accept change-of-mind returns on:

  • Items used or damaged after delivery
  • Products returned without their original packaging or missing parts
  • Consumables (such as label rolls and thermal paper) once opened, unless faulty

This doesn't affect your rights if an item is faulty or not as described.

Cancellations

Changed your mind before your order ships? Contact us as soon as possible at support@sunafrique.co.za. If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, we'll cancel it and refund you in full. Once an order is on its way, the standard returns process above applies.
